Professor Shahriyārī’s computer was like a car with a diesel engine! Most of the times when he ran into problems [with his computer], I would resolve the problem for him; and the main problem was its [processor’s] slow speed. His financial situation was good and he even spent his own money for purchasing things [that were needed for his projects at the university], but he never took anything for himself. Even when new computers arrived, he would either put them at the disposal of the students or place them in one of the labs.
