When Shahīd Shahriyārī was a high school student he went to the local mosque’s imām (prayer leader) and put a question to him concerning the Fifth Share (khoms) which applied to his pocket money. I heard this story from Hāj-Āqā Salīmī, the imam of the mosque of his neighborhood.
