Majīd was a loyal customer [= frequent attender] of the Congressional Prayers of the Darvāze-ye Rasht Mosque of [the city of] Zanjān. It happened frequently that the call to prayers were cried from the minarets and we continued to play while Majīd would go and make his ritual ablutions and head to the mosque wearing that plain checkered shirt which he wore with its tail hanging out from his trousers.
