On one of the nights of the blessed month of Ramaḍān, we went to the Qandī Mosque in Hasan Ābād. On the way, the subject of the congressional (majles) elections came up. I think it was the Third Congress. Majīd said he thought it best to vote for those who are the followers of Imam [Khomeinī]. He emphasized that he did not believe it to be good for someone to go against the position of the Imam and to think of himself as superior in his intelligence and knowledge [than the Imam].
