I was once invited to an event at one warzone. This event was different from the others because of the geographical location of this zone, which heightened the possibility of chemical attacks in the region. Imagine a big hall with a few hundred soldiers, each holding a mask, staring at you. I was holding a tattered megaphone in one hand and a mask in the other. I started to perform and in the middle of one of songs, their commander suddenly shouted: “wear your masks! The siren is wailing.”  I was startled and didn’t know what to do, but the commander shouted again: “Mr. Golriz! Leave the megaphone, wear your mask!” I did as I was told. A few minutes later he told us to remove our masks and asked me to continue singing, and then the same thing happened over and over again. I think we put our masks on and took them off about four times. That’s when I said: “Brothers! Don’t bother yourselves anymore for nothing, just keep your masks on!” that’s when everyone started to laugh out loud. Thank God nothing serious happened that day.
