Shahīd Shahriyārī’s Wife
November 10th, 2016
When he came home late from work, I would frequently say to him in jest, “Did you lose your way home? How nice of you to join us!” And Majīd would simply apologize. He showed great consideration for my feelings. He made a habit of purchasing a gift for members of the family on their birthdays and other such occasions, even if this was as simple a thing as a single flower. He was a close friend to all of the children and put aside a dedicated slot of time to spend with them. When the scheduled time would arrive, my daughter would give him with a reminder. He played manly games with my son Mohsen, wrestling with him in earnest irrespective of Mohsen’s age and weaker physique.
