A few years ago a heavy snow fell on Tehran. Our dorm was close enough to the university for us to walk the distance, but this was seemingly too much for the Tehranī students [who were not used to so much snow], so that out of ten or twelve students, only two showed up to class. Professor Shahriyārī said that there is not a sufficient quorum for me to teach today, but I will teach something extracurricular for the two of you who have made it here today.
